WP07 Comparison and pooling of the data obtained with the various approaches to assess horse mackerel stock state in the North-east Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea

The application of various and different methodologies on the same fish resource is the best way to obtain exhaustive information for a correct stock identification. The aim of this section is to pool together the data and results obtained with the various genetic, parasitological, morphometric, biological and tagging approaches. The goal is to identify stocks of the horse mackerel in the Nort-east Atlantic and Mediterranean and to evaluate the state of this resource, in order to provide mangerial indications suggested by the data obtained. Partners 01, 02, 03, 04 and 07 (responsibles for the corresponding WP) will pool together all the data and analysis carried out, under the different methodologies and techniques applied in this study, to be discussed in common by all the Partners (01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09 and 10) taking part in this proposal. We will use appropiate statistical tools to compare the concordance among the results obtained by different methodologies and then to achieve tested conclusions.
